Advertisement Details

The Duty Assistant provides the initial point of contact for members of the public or agencies e.g. NHS Shetland, Housing Service etc., requiring to make a referral to the Social Care Service. Contacts may be in person, by telephone, letter, fax or e-mail.

The Duty Assistant has a responsibility to ensure that all information received and held on clients of the Social Care Service is logged and maintained on computer.
