To assist in the provision of all key elements of the Registration function.

The Grade of this post is -

Grade 1 / Level 4, the hourly rate is from £10.04 to £10.95 and the annual salary is from £18,323 to £19,984.

Grade 2 / Level 5, the hourly rate is from £11.20 to £12.33 and the annual salary is from £20,604 to £22,502.

Grade 2 / Level 6, the hourly rate is from £12.68 to £13.86 and the annual salary is from £23,141 to £25,294.

Applicants will need to have experience of Registration and be familiar/have a working knowledge with the processes and procedures surrounding all aspects of the registration of births, deaths and marriages.  Applicants must be prepared to follow a course of study, some of which will be in their own time, and to attend specific training sessions in Edinburgh. 

They will also be required to sit a final examination after working at L4/5 for a minimum of two years in order to progress to the L6 pay scale.
