Job Description

The successful candidates will provide an effective minute taking service to all Service areas, including liaising with internal and external contacts, arranging, minuting and distributing paperwork for Child Protection, Adult Support and Protection, Adults with Incapacity, etc. To meet legislative requirements an accurate minute must be produced within a set number of hours signed by the Chairperson and distributed immediately to ensure outcomes and actions are taken forward timeously. Maintain South Lanarkshire Council’s Child Protection Register. Update the Social Work Information System (SWiSplus) and Excel spreadsheets to produce performance indicators for statistical reporting returns. The successful applicant should possess good keyboard, oral and written communication skills

All applicants who meet the initial criteria will be invited along to a minute taking test where they will be asked to minute a Case Conference meeting communicated via a DVD. They will need to type up an accurate minute of the meeting. We are not expecting you to complete but we are expecting that you will have the ability to take down the important and relevant points to populate the minute.
