In recent years we have concluded an extensive programme of innovative change which has involved replacing children's units with new, individually designed houses which provide a warm, homely and domestic environment and are furnished and equipped to a high standard.
The teams are well structured, with good level of support, supervision and development. You will be joining a progressive and innovative social work resource where children's needs come first. We are consistently striving to further enhance the social, education, health and wellbeing of all children and enjoy excellent working relationships with internal and external partners.
The successful candidate should hold a SVQ level 3 in Care related topic and HNC or above. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to commit to completing SVQ Level 4 to meet SSSC qualification requirements.

Candidates should be able to detail any gaps in employment and provide a foreign police check where applicable for any periods living or working abroad.
