Job Description

Enterprise Resources, Roads and Transportation Services wish to appoint a Roads Engineering Officer (Network), to be based in Montrose House Hamilton.

The qualification required for this post is an HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) or working towards this.

Incorporated Engineer status with an appropriate Engineering body is desirable or working towards this as is previous experience of road network functions.

Main duties include involvement in the preparation of Capital and Revenue Works Programmes, responses to Freedom of Information enquiries, preparation of Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders, ensuring works are carried out in accordance with appropriate health and safety requirements and dealing with all enquiries including those from Elected Members and the general public.

You will be expected to be customer focused and be able to demonstrate job specific and core competencies as contained within the job profile.

This post requires a willingness to participate in our emergency stand by rota if required, remuneration for which will be paid in accordance with conditions of service.
