Job Description

Housing & Technical Resources have an opportunity for an experienced individual to undertake the role of Database Assistant within Property Services. We deliver an integrated property management service based on strong links between our Building Services, Consultancy Services and Assets & Estates Sections.

You will be responsible for the input, maintenance and analysis of data held within the housing stock asset management system. You will also be responsible for the verification of stock condition information gathered from partners and other sources and the production of reports and statistical information to assist with monitoring SHQS and EESSH compliance. You must therefore be able to demonstrate previous work experience in the analysis of databases, preferably relating to property management, and in the production of complex reports and statistical information.

You will carry out analysis and scenario planning to support Investment Officers proposals for future Housing Investment Programmes and develop and maintain survey programmes including updating/ downloading of handhelds, development of survey forms and evaluation of data, including SAP ratings, energy attributes and EPCs.

You will be required to demonstrate an ability to organise and prioritise your workload and have the ability to respond and adapt to changing priorities to ensure delivery of a quality service.

Excellent communication and IT skills are essential.
