Job Description

The Construction Project Manager will provide professional construction project management services to support the delivery of the Council’s ambitious capital infrastructure programme and City Region Deal. Working in the small and busy Capital Project Delivery team within Infrastructure Service, the successful candidate will work on a wide range of property projects across Stirling Council. The job is varied and rewarding with opportunity to gain experience in many different sectors including Education, Community and Economic Development. The vacancy will suit an experienced, fully qualified construction project manager who is already Chartered with a recognised body or who is working to achieve this.

Requirements

Applicants should have experience in the delivery of high value, complex infrastructure projects, pre and post construction, ideally within a local government environment. The Construction Project Manager will have excellent technical skills but will also be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, and able to work alone and as part of a team, under pressure to meet challenging timescales and deliver planned outcomes.
