An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Support Worker within the Parent and Family Support Team, Schools, Learning and Education. The Parent and Family Support Team delivers early and preventative support to families with children aged 2 up until the end of primary school. Support is flexible and tailored to families’ needs and is delivered through 1:1 support and a range of evidence-based group supports.
The post is 24.5 hours per week extended year. 17.5 hours of the post are permanent with the remaining hours being on a fixed term basis until 26th June 2026. The role involves home visiting and working in community settings with an office base at Back O’ Hill, Stirling.
The successful applicant will require to be educated to HNC Level or have a qualification relevant to the post and have experience working with families on a 1-1 basis and in facilitating group-work.
