Job Description
An exciting employment opportunity has arisen at Facilities Management, Stirling Council for a School Crossing Patroller in support of Bannockburn Primary School. The successful candidate will provide a safe roads crossing facility for parents and their children in support of the community on a 6.25 hours per week/term-time basis over 39 weeks of the year.
Start and Finish times will be dependent upon the operating times of the local school, however, they are 45 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon (generally 08:20 to 09:05 & 15:00 to 15:30).
This role is paid at Stirling Council Grade 2 which is currently £10.34 per hour. No previous experience is necessary as full training will be made available, personal protective equipment (PPE), tools and training will be provided where necessary.
Applicants should prepared to work alone outdoors and in inclement weather. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes or is able to work short hours and provide an important and invaluable road safety service in their community.Requirements
