Support for Learning Assistant - Callander Primary School (Temporary until June 2023)

Job Description

Callander Primary School are seeking to appoint a temporary Support for Learning Assistant, for a full time post (27.5 hours per week) until June 2023. The successful candidate will be part of a nurturing, highly motivated team within Callander Primary. They will be dynamic, flexible, forward-thinking, fully committed to the values and aims of inclusive education and to the holistic development of children.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have experience of working with children, will be able to encourage and motivate others, leading by example in a collegiate manner, and will be able to demonstrate the required qualities and skills for this post. Our Support for Learning Assistants work closely with class teachers and the Senior Leadership Team, sharing responsibility for our positive school ethos, developing high quality relationships with both children and families. The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for children.
