Job Description

These are part time posts and the salary will be pro rata to the number of hours worked. The hourly rate for these posts is £9.34.

We currently have temporary, permanent, term time and 52 week vacancies for Cleaning Operatives within various premises in West Dunbartonshire. Cleaners are responsible for the provision of a high quality, responsive cleaning service within the premise. The successful candidates will be required to carry out general cleaning duties ensuring high standards are maintained while adhering to Health and Safety guidelines at all times.

14.25hrs - Alexandria Area - Permanent -Working Pattern: 3pm - 6pm Mon -Thur, 3pm - 5.15pm Friday   

14.25hrs - Alexandria Area - Permanent - Working Pattern: 3pm - 6.00pm Mon - Thur 3pm - 5.15pm Friday (During Term Time)

16hrs - Balloch Campus - Temporary until 01/03/2022 - Working Pattern: 3pm - 6.15pm Mon - Thur 3pm - 6pm Friday (During Term Time)

16hrs - Ferryfield ELCC - Permanent - Working Pattern: 3.15pm - 6.30pm Mon - Thur 3pm - 6pm Friday

14.25hrs - St Marys Alexandria - Permanent- Working Pattern:3pm - 6pm Mon - Thur 3pm - 5.15pm Friday (During Term Time) 

 

Requirements

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.

Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.

Responsibilities
