A vacancy has arisen with the Facilities Management Section for a Food & Nutrition Co-ordinator.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive individual with excellent communication and time management skills to join our Facilities Management Team. This is an exciting time to be joining us with a number of significant legislative changes to school food being introduced in 2020 and the expansion of the Early Years meal and snack provision well underway.
The post holder will be responsible for leading menu development and implementation for snacks and school meals within the Early Years, Primary, Special and Secondary sectors in compliance with national guidelines and legislation. They will have responsibility for product research and sampling, costing and nutritional analysis and will be working alongside a dedicated team of Catering staff to advise and support them with service delivery and to monitoring and review meal uptake.
The successful candidate will require to hold a nationally recognised Food Science or Nutrition Qualification, have relevant catering management experience in a schools/nurseries environment and have experience of menu planning and working with nutritional analysis software.
