We have an exciting opportunity to recruit dynamic forward thinking individuals to work in our newly developed Reablement team.

Do you have experience in working within care either on personal/professional level? Are you looking to develop your skills/knowledge? Can you work as part of a team and on your own initiative and are you the kind of person who wants more out of your
job? If yes then this is the job for you.

We are seeking individuals who are motivated, enthusiastic and are looking for a new challenge. Our Home Carers play an important part in supporting people to remain in their own homes by carrying tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication and some domestic tasks.

These posts are for various hours per week, working 5 days over of 7 and there are various positions and hours available. You will be expected to work a rota which includes
mornings/evenings and every 2nd weekend.

Some of these are part time posts including various hours and the salary will be pro rata to the number of hours worked.

We currently have contracts with the following hours available, however the working hours can be negotiated further for the successful applicants:

  • Full time (35 hours per week)
  • Part Time (25/20/16 hours per week)

Requirements

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.

Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
