Job Description

Post 1 35 hours  Post 2 - 14 hours (the salary will be pro-rata'd to the hours worked)

Working within a busy Contact Centre environment, we are looking for someone who is friendly, hardworking and thrives in a fast-paced environment and shows a willingness to help others in crisis.

Duties will include providing administrative support in a team responsible for the Scottish Welfare Fund and Discretionary Housing Payments and benefit appeals; including vetting and processing of application forms, making decisions within set parameters, and the provision of goods and services to citizens. Recently this has also included the inputting and processing of the Self Isolation Support Grants.

 

Requirements

The preferred candidates will be required to complete a Basic Disclosure Check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbarton Council.
