Falla Hill Primary School is a non-denominational school serving the community of Fauldhouse.  It is part of the Whitburn Academy cluster.  The school roll is 172 with pupils being organised into eight classes (P1-7) and a 24/24 nursery.

The senior leadership team comprises the Head Teacher and two part-time Principal Teachers. In addition to eight class teachers, there is a team of pupil support workers, a support for learning teacher and a Nurture teacher. The school office is staffed by an administrative assistant with some clerical support.

All pupils have access to a very successful Breakfast Club which is well attended.  A variety of sports clubs are available out-with the school day at different times of the year.

Falla Hill Primary School is well supported by the parent council and the wider community. The parent council works in close partnership with the school and provides support in identifying areas for improvement. There are supportive partnerships with local community groups.

This Admin Assistant role will have a clear focus on delivering high quality administrative support to Falla Hill Primary School. The successful candidate will deliver a wide range of admin functions and will follow West Lothian Council policies and procedures in order to support the effective day to day running of the school, working closely in partnership with staff, parents and learners.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
