Based in our award winning offices at West Lothian Civic Centre, Livingston you will be joining a team which strives for excellence in service delivery and works well with partners. 

You will assist the Property Maintenance & Planned Improvements Team Leader delivering a wide range of construction projects and asset management information gathering exercises. You will be responsible for the design, preparation of contract documents and contract administration services for a wide variety of construction projects in support of infrastructure development and planned improvements.

The Property Maintenance & Planned Improvements team is one of six service units within Property Services providing a wide range of professional and technical construction and property related services.

The skills and experience you must have:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
  • Knowledge and working experience of JCT SBCC Suite of Contracts.
  • Microsoft Office 2007 Excel & Word packages.
  • Conversant with a wide range of construction, property and contract legislation.
  • The ability to work with minimum of supervision.
  • Demonstrate an ability to communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing
