Secondment Opportunity

An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced GTCS registered staff member currently employed by Clackmannanshire, Falkirk, Stirling and West Lothian Councils to assist the Forth Valley and West Lothian Regional Improvement Collaborative.  The following post is available:

Depute Head Teacher Curriculum & Virtual Learning (DHT Point 8 – £63,321)  

The Forth Valley and West Lothian RIC are offering an exciting opportunity to lead the development of the new FV&WL RIC Curriculum work stream.  A job outline is attached covering the job scope and key aspects of the posts.

Applicants must hold an appropriate teaching qualification at degree level and be GTCS Registered.  The post holder should be skilled in the creative use of digital technologies to enhance learning for all learners.  It is also desirable that applicants should currently be in a school leadership post and have experience of leading positive change.

This post provides a secondment opportunity on a full time basis for a period of 12 months initially.   If successful, you will continue to be employed by your existing employer. 

The duration of the secondment will be subject to review.

Please note that this advert is ring -fenced to staff working within Clackmannanshire, Falkirk, Stirling and West Lothian Councils.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.  Successful candidates will be required to join the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to commencing employment and the cost will be met by the candidate
