Reporting to the IT Service Portfolio and Programme Manager, this is a senior post within the recently restructured IT Services section and is critical in the delivery of effective and efficient IT Services. As IT PCL Manager your challenge will be to use your procurement, contract and supplier management experience and skills within IT Services to ensure a consistent and quality approach to the procurement and ongoing management of all contracts within IT Services.

The post will work closely with the IT Service Deliver Manager, IT Project Managers, IT Service Desk Team Leader and the IT Management team to provide a first class IT service provision to all of our customers.

This permanent role provides an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the new IT structure within West Lothian Council IT Services.

Applicants will have extensive experience undertaking procurement related activities within an IT environment and will be the subject matter expert within IT Services using their knowledge and experience to identify efficiencies, innovative ideas and solutions to achieve best value for the council and ensure the appropriate management of contracts and suppliers.

IT Services service delivery structure is currently based on ITlLv3 and you must have a sound understanding, knowledge and experience of good practice. Applicants should also be able to demonstrate experience of dealing with project delivery using a project methodology based on PRINCE2.
