Recycling & Waste Services wish to recruit into a Technical Clerk role to work as part of the Waste Disposal team. The role will provide the service with additional support to ensure the smooth operation of the weighbridges at Whitehill Waste Transfer Station during peak times.
The Technical Clerk will have a data handling and technical advisory role to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the weighbridges. They will also contribute to ensuring that visitors to the site are greeted in a professional manner, made aware of relevant health and safety procedures and adhere to waste acceptance protocols.
Hours of Work
Monday-Friday, 3.5 hours per day

Computer literate – including use of word processing, spreadsheet and database packages
Ability to work as a team member in an organised efficient manner
Competent typist/word processor operator
Good written and verbal communications skills
Good interpersonal skills
