Student Wellbeing Assistant (Teambuilding)

Structured health, wellbeing and cultural activity contributes to educational retention, attainment, and fulfilment. As part of our Covid-19 Response Activity, student wellbeing is at the top of our agenda, particularly during the first semester, in keeping our students engaged in college life.
As Student Wellbeing Assistant, you will support the work of the Student Wellbeing Officer and Learner Engagement Team, and the substantial portfolio of activity on offer to our learners.
In particular, you will specialise in delivering teambuilding activities to classes to help forge healthy relationships, promote soft skill development, and most importantly nurture a culture of fun and belonging.
A positive, resilient approach and excellent interpersonal skills are needed, backed up with a qualification at HN level or above in a relevant sports, health, or community education discipline.
A demonstrable ability to engage, involve, persuade, and influence others, with experience of group delivery.
Strong organisational and team working skills are essential.
You will be required to work over all campuses and in different environments including outreach and community based.
A full driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
