Edinburgh College is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person to take up the exciting post of Lecturer in Accounts and Finance.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated team player within the Accounting and Finance team within our Enterprise and Commerce department. The post holder would be required to prepare, support, and deliver Finance and Accounts units and be expected to develop and deliver these types of units to other departments within the college.

This is an exciting time to join the college as we pilot the new innovative HN Next Generation Accounting course. You will be required to develop and deliver the new model using a project-based approach. For further information Next Generation Higher National Qualifications - SQA

They will be dedicated to teaching Accounting and Finance-related units within FE and HE and have experience in developing, delivering, and assessing at all levels. The ideal candidate will also have experience in developing and delivering AAT levels 6.7.8. They will be student focused with the student at the centre of all learning and teaching. Effective communication skills and the ability to work as an effective team member are key and any previous experience of teaching would be an advantage.
