Lecturer in Pharmacy - EC00373

Hours – 22.30 hours per week

Contract basis – Permanent

Edinburgh College is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person to take up the exciting post of Lecturer in Pharmacy.

As a lecturer within the Pharmacy team you will potentially be involved in the development and delivery of SCQF Level 4 -8 courses in Pharmacy. You will be joining an established team of GPhC registrants with a wealth of expertise that will support you in your new role.

A qualified Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist currently registered with the GPhC, you will have experience of assessing, training or mentoring within a pharmacy setting, it would be also desirable to possess a PDA/TQFE or teaching qualification or be willing to work towards these. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be happy to teach a wide range of students and will be able to work effectively within a team.

Applicants must be available to teach during the day and be able to demonstrate creative approaches to teaching, a willingness to share practice and contribute to the development of resources.
