Creative industries are one of the most important and fastest-growing sectors in the country, contributing £112 billion each year to the UK economy. This large faculty currently has 93 Academic Members of staff and 22 Professional Services employees and covers subject areas in:

• Expressive and Visual Arts – including performing arts, fashion & beauty, jewellery, and art & design

• Media – including sound production, screen, media, photography, and graphic design

• Sport – including sports science, coaching, football studies, and wellbeing

• Digital Technologies – including software, cyber security, animation, and games development

The successful candidate will work with some outstanding staff and first-rate facilities, including a state-of-the-art media centre, sound and recording studio, hair salons and our own theatre. Faculty delivers a range of qualifications from SCQF level 4 to degree level 10, Industry Vendor qualifications, commercial courses and sits over 36,000 credits.

As the new Faculty Director for Creative Arts of Fife College, you will lead the strategic leadership and development of an inclusive, high quality and innovative curriculum portfolio for the Faculty and for the wider College working with other senior colleagues.

You will provide vision, leadership and motivational management to specialist teams, that will ensure optimal performance and student success through efficient and effective resourcing, delivery, guidance and support. To lead on, influence and foster strategic collaboration in support of positive internal and external stakeholder engagement at all levels.
