Based at Glenrothes Campus

In partnership with the Quality and Evaluation Manager, you will develop and support effective internal and external quality activities and processes aligned to our academic quality cycle and provide related training on these.

The role will include involvement in the College’s Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) credit rating activity and chairing meetings to ensure alignment with the SCQF Partnership Principles.

You will advise and work with managers to ensure effective complaints investigation. This includes administering the complaints handling process, managing responses, reporting on Complaints and Commendations and providing effective analysis for curriculum areas, the college and the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman.

Liaising with faculties and professional services staff you will provide effective guidance and support for the college internal approvals process and curriculum provision, ensuring internal requirements and external quality standards are met.

Establishing and maintaining effective professional relationships with external partners, awarding bodies and supporting the preparation for external verification, audits and reviews is key as well as the ability to manage non-routine tasks and react to changing priorities.

Educated to minimum of HND or equivalent (SCQF Level 8) in a relevant subject or HNC with significant relevant experience in quality processes and procedures you will also have experience of internal review and evaluation processes.

You must have experience of liaising with awarding bodies and validating institutions as well as preparation for external quality audits, reviews and complaints handling.

You will have excellent communication skills and time management skills as well as experience of planning, prioritising and organising your own work or resources.
