Anticipated Start Date is as soon as possible.

Engaging with teams across the College and working collaboratively with all areas of Digital Services and the Planning and Performance Directorate, the Senior Data and Insights Analyst will play a key role in supporting the College to make the best use of its data to drive improved performance and decision making.

Educated to degree level or equivalent (SCQF level 9) in a relevant discipline or recent experience in a similar role with evidence of professional updating.

You should have significant recent experience working in roles involving data analysis, reporting and/or dashboard development activities, leading the development of reporting and dashboarding solutions.

Experience of SQL querying and programming or ETL/data preparation tools and techniques you will have a high level of skill and ability in producing, interpreting and presenting complex data and information.

Evidence of demonstrable knowledge of key advances within data analysis and planning is essential for this job role.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience working directly with internal and external customers, stakeholders and external agencies, be an analytical thinker with the ability to define and present information to specialist and non-specialist users.

The ability to work unsupervised to deadlines, planning and setting priorities for own work and that of others and monitoring progress is essential.
