We are looking to recruit a Trainer/ Assessor who will support the Supported Programmes and Community Team. You should have a passion for everything to do with student support and achievement. The ability and desire to share your knowledge and skills with learners is key. The ability and desire to share your knowledge and skills with learners is key.
Working with a wide range of learners, abilities and age groups, you will be able to motivate learners and ensure that the candidate is undertaking the correct pathway and appropriate level of vocational or industry qualification.
You will provide training, advice and support to students to ensure they obtain the skills, knowledge and experience required.
You will be expected to prepare and deliver learning activities using a variety of methods (including blended learning), which are contextualised to working environments and support the development of knowledge and skills.
You will carry out a fair, safe and reliable assessment of the candidate’s skills and knowledge, adhering to Fife College policies and those of the Awarding body.
You should have relevant and proven industry/work based experience with students from either supported programmes or the community. You should be qualified to the highest appropriate level in the relevant vocational area.
You must have experience of developing training materials and of delivering training contextualised to the relevant discipline/industry.
Travel will be required in the Fife region.
