The Estates Department are looking to appoint a Cleaning Supervisor to lead a small team of cleaning staff in a range of cleaning services at our Alloa campus.
The role is split shifts working 24 hours per week and the work pattern will differ between term/non term time. Term time work pattern is Monday to Thursday 7am – 8.55am & 3pm – 6pm; Friday is 7am-8.55am & 3pm – 5.25pm. Non term time the work pattern is Monday – Thursday 7am – 12 noon and Friday is 7am – 11am.
In your role as a Cleaning Supervisor you will organise, participate and supervise the cleaning staff in a range of cleaning duties to meet the requirements of the campus. You will be responsible for delivering training, maintaining accurate staff attendance record, manage holidays and absence allocation. Candidates should have knowledge and experience of cleaning services and staff supervision which is essential for this position, preferably in an educational environment. You should have a BICs cleaning qualification or equivalent with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar post. Have excellent customer service skills and attention to detail, with awareness of health and safety requirements for the post.
