Based at Falkirk Campus
We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical practicioner with hazardous area experience. Delivering and assessing training to personnel across the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and other hazardous area sectors, you will find motivated and like-minded candidates keen to build their skillset through participating in our range of electrical subjects including: Electrical Safety, 18th Edition, PAT Testing and CompEx hazardous area training.
Based at our new state of the art Falkirk Campus with excellent motorway and public transport links, you will be joining the department at time of extensive growth and development as we aim to become the first choice for industry training in Scotland, delivering highly trained personnel across a range of sectors.
You will join a passionate, knowledgeable and highly driven team of trainers and be responsible for the preparation and delivery of commercial training programmes across a range of electrical safety provision.
Requirement for an Electrical Engineering/Electro Technical Trade qualification and evidence of hazardous area experience is essential.
Training experience, assessor qualification or equivalent and a formal teaching qualification is desirable, however not essential as full training will be provided.
Having a professional approach, you will be an effective influencer and motivator who leads by example and is willing to undertake all necessary training to become an approved trainer.
The successful candidate will be supported through the CompEx Trainer/Assessor program which will immerse the candidate in the hazardous area standards and take them through the approval process to become a qualified CompEx Trainer/Assessor. This will include a Witness Assessment and Technical Board after a period of assessor mentoring.
