We are looking to appoint an administrative assistant to provide administrative support to the Directors and staff in the Research Centres within the School of Computing, Engineering & Built Environment.

The role holder will act as first point of contact for the Research Centres, providing an excellent level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.  Assist with the organisation of the Centres events and seminars and provide support to committees and working groups as required.

In addition the role holder will update Content on the Centres webpages and assist with the monitoring of the Centres research budgets.

The successful candidate should be, educated to HNC level or have equivalent experience; possess excellent organisational skills; be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages; have a demonstrable understanding of monitoring research budgets and in clerking meetings.

Experience of working with Discoverer Financials and PECOS procurement systems, or similar is desirable.
