The University’s College Connect Team are looking to appoint a Development Officer to take forward the operational aspects of delivering the College Connect Strategy including the recruitment, conversion and transition of students from College.

The main duties of this role are to develop and deliver recruitment and transition support to prospective articulating students from partner colleges as well as building and maintaining relationships with key partners across the college sector.  The post-holder will work as part of the College Connect Team, focusing on delivery of targeted work to meet university recruitment targets and assist in the progression and retention of articulating students, contributing to a first-class student experience.

The appointed candidate will be educated to degree level or have equivalent relevant experience, have experience of working in a development role and have an up to date knowledge of articulation.  Other essential criteria include: experience of and be confident in delivering to medium to large audiences; an up-to-date knowledge of best-practice in Widening Participation and transition support and excellent presentation skills.
