The VISA Team are a dedicated team of ethical and professional immigration specialists, who are committed to the quality delivery of an authentic student support service through positive engagement. Providing visa and immigration advice and promoting the continued duty of care owed to all, as we strive to enhance both the student and staff experience. The VISA Team support students to be compliant under their Student visa status and ensures the university is compliant under its UKVI licences, supporting colleagues across departments in adhering to the university’s sponsor duties and responsibilities.

This International UKVI Compliance Advisor (VISA) post is a new role within the team created to provide international UKVI compliance advice and support to linked internal departments and campuses.  This role will conduct data analysis to provide proactive international UKVI compliance advice and support business activities while completing key reporting UKVI Functions. As our student population has grown, this role is even more vital to adhering to our UKVI licence duties and responsibilities.

We are looking for an organised and problem-solving individual who has a demonstrated history of working in a high-demand area, managing multiple priorities within tight timescales who will positively contribute to enhancing service delivery. With an experience of working with international students and a working knowledge of International (and EU) Student Immigration, the post-holder will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to uphold the VISA Team’s vision of providing an authentic and professional support service. A confident and compassionate individual and a team-player is desired to balance delivery of student support while playing a key support role in university’s maintenance of our UKVI Sponsor Licences.
