This is a full time/fixed term opportunity for one year (in the first instance)

Applicants are invited for this opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative team, who support the delivery of contemporary BSc (Hons), MSc and Doctor of Physiotherapy (pre-registration) programmes, as well as MSc Physiotherapy and MSc Advanced Practice post-registration programmes. The post holder will have an opportunity to contribute to the continuing development of a contemporary physiotherapy and interprofessional healthcare curriculum, using current research-led evidence.

The applicant should be able to demonstrate knowledge of the level and expectations of pre and post-registration education alongside current or recent teaching experience in either higher education or within a clinical environment. It is expected that applicants can demonstrate evidence of research and/or advanced scholarship, and must be registered as a Physiotherapist with the HCPC. We welcome interest from Physiotherapists with practice experience within areas of Advanced Practice.

This post could be considered as a secondment opportunity (where you remain an employee of your current organisation with no change to your remuneration and benefits but are seconded to GCU for one year, in the first instance). The post allows for personal and professional development in both education and research.
