An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior IT Project Manager to join the Student Information Management System (SIMS) programme team at GCU, Glasgow Caledonian University.
The SIMS programme is a flagship technology change and business transformation Programme at GCU. The Programme is replacing the existing Student Information System with a new Cloud based system from Tribal. The new system will provide capabilities in all areas of student management from Admissions, Registrations, Progression, Awards and Graduation as well as further capabilities in Finance, Curriculum Management and Reporting.
The Senior IT Project Manager will play a key role in delivering the overall Business and Technical Solution by taking responsibility for the delivery of a release and its associated projects, work packages and business change.
You will work closely with the SIMS Programme Manager and the senior programme leadership team throughout the full design, development and delivery.
To be successful in this role you will bring an extensive track record of successful delivery of technology and business change projects, working in partnership with third party suppliers. You will also have a demonstrable background in systems integration and data migration.
Although, not essential it would be ideal if you have one or more of the following:
• Experience of working within the Higher Education Sector
• Experience of working with Cloud host IT platforms
• Experience of working within a programme environment where more than one release is being progressed concurrently.
