The College is in the middle of ambitious digital transformation and the second year of an exciting Digital Transformation strategy. We’re doing great things already, we’ve recently launched a first of it’s kind student app, recently become been approved by Microsoft to become a Showcase College and have transitioned 80% of our learning to online delivery. Now, we are pushing ahead with our Data and Business Intelligence plans.

The College is looking to recruit into the role of Graduate Developer. As part of the Digital Services team the post holder will support the Digital team and contribute to the development and coding of software projects including the UX and contribute to the development of student services including MyKelvin, Unit-e and online enrolment systems. The successful candidate will also need to:

  • Liaise with the Senior Developer to contribute to the development of projects and work closely with the wider Digital Development team to contribute to the development of systems using data technologies.
  • Write and implement efficient code and fix bugs within existing code bases.
  • Contribute to the development of DB (SQL) systems related to Business Intelligence infrastructure (PowerBI) in partnership with the MI Developer,
  • Develop data infrastructure with the College’s hybrid on-premise and cloud platforms yet continue the College’s move to Azure.
  • Develop strong understanding of the College’s key student database platforms (Unit-e) and engagement systems (MyKelvin) and data surrounding structures


The successful candidate must be educated to degree level in a Computer Science subject.
