Glasgow Kelvin College is the key provider of accessible vocational and core-skills learning in the north and east of the city. We deliver high-quality introductory to degree-level programmes to around 15,000 students each year from four campus buildings and through a large network of community-based centres.
Engaging with communities which experience high levels of deprivation, the College works with partners to create inclusive progression opportunities in a vibrant and sustainable environment for the learners, communities and stakeholders which we serve.

Essential Criteria
You will have a HND or equivalent in a relevant field of study and have previous and/or current Gaelic language focused professional/industry experience.
You will possess a high level of Gaelic literacy skills and a knowledge of 20th/21st century Gaelic literature.

Desirable Criteria
Desirable requirements include the following:
  • TQFE or equivalent
  • Relevant degree and/or a language teaching certificate e.g. TESOL
  • Experience in teaching and assessing, including previous delivery of Gaelic language programmes to SCQF level 6
  • Familiarity with SQA systems and processes with particular reference to the Gàidhlig (Fluent Speakers) Higher
  • Ability to utilise and develop relevant VLE based materials
