We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Mathematics to join our thriving Mathematics Department. The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject and committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning across a range of abilities and age groups.
Key Responsibilities
● Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Mathematics across Key Stages 3–5.
● Teach Mathematics to GCSE and A Level, including SQA Higher Mathematics.
● Support pupils in developing strong mathematical understanding and confidence in problem solving.
● Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of pupils in accordance with departmental and school policies.
● Contribute to the continued development of schemes of work, resources, and teaching strategies within the department.
● Maintain high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
● Participate fully in departmental meetings, collaborative planning, and professional development opportunities.
● Contribute to the wider life of the school through involvement in enrichment activities, clubs, and events.
● Engage in continual professional reflection to enhance teaching practice and support departmental improvement.
