Learning Support Assistant, Hamilton College

Hamilton College is a co-educational, non-denominational Christian independent school for learners aged 2-18 and we are currently seeking a full time Learning Support Assistant to join our school.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic, motivated individuals wishing to work in an educational setting, providing dedicated pupil support in and out of the classroom to our learners requiring additional support needs within Hamilton College.

Experience of working in a similar role within the Scottish curriculum is essential, with a relevant qualification i.e. SCQF level 6 (PDA/Education Support Assistance) being considered desirable. Applicants must have good oral and written communication skills. Have strong interpersonal and listening skills with a high level of empathy, enthusiasm, and intuition.

Hours of working will be 35 hours per week, based on a flexible rota basis between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday working term time only. Rate of pay is dependent on qualifications and experience.
