Admissions Operational Manager

We are looking for an Admissions Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day operation of the Admissions team. The role will include regular liaison with designated academic staff, the effective management of offers of admission to the University, the regular reporting of application numbers against agreed targets through the undergraduate and postgraduate admissions cycle. The role holder will also lead on aspects of applicant confirmation, and Clearing activities.

Staff within the Admissions function provide a key interface between applicants, those holding offers, academic subject areas, and external agencies, including the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). Staff provide professional advice and support to Admissions tutors, and take decisions on applicant offers based on parameters established for such decision-making. The Admissions Operations Manager supports the Head of Admissions in developing and implementing policy and procedures in relation to all of the above.
