Job Description

Duration: September 2019 for 24 weeks
Hours: 4.38 hours per week on a Tuesday evening
Salary: £33,500 – £41,526 per annum (dependent on experience)

West Lothian College are looking to appoint an outstanding lecturer who will demonstrate the necessary commitment and enthusiasm to contribute to their team. Working within the friendly and knowledgeable team within the Beauty Therapy & Hairdressing Centre, you will be committed to the delivery of high quality teaching and a varied learning experience, focussed on progression and employability.

Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer to contribute to the delivery and assessment of a range of courses from SCQF Level 6 to Level 7. You will develop course materials for online and face to face learning, work flexibly and collaborate effectively with other members of the College.

Applicants should have a SVQ level 3 in the relevant subject. A teaching qualification and lecturing experience within the Barbering Sector is preferable.

Successful applicants will be subject to a PVG Disclosure Check which will be paid by the College and must be eligible to work in the UK.
