ABOUT THE JOB

The post holder will undertake a wide range of general administrative support of the effective workings of the court.

You will provide administration support and work in conjunction with the Crown Office Procurators Fiscal Service, Scottish Court Service, Scottish Police Authority and other Court Agencies in a liaison capacity, to provide information on the optimum availability of Police Scotland personnel required as court witnesses. Carry out administrative duties in relation to police witnesses on court standby, logging telephone calls and numbers for officers' whereabouts whilst on standby. Dealing with all aspects of the Police witness Excusal system.

You will support our aim to offer excellent service by providing a comprehensive and confidential administrative service and a friendly and professional response to everyone who contacts us. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to manage telephone calls, emails, correspondence, databases and spreadsheets in a corporate style and to an agreed standard.

ABOUT YOU

You will be educated to SQA Standard Grade level or equivalent. Where no formal qualifications exists demonstrable experience in a relevant environment must be displayed.

This full time post is permanent and will require Standard Recruitment Vetting. You will work 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm.
