Working across communities and facilities in Forth Valley, primarily Falkirk, you will deliver a high-quality Macmillan Move More referral service to support individuals and their families affected by cancer to access, inclusive and appropriate physical activity opportunities.
Please note, this post is 30 hours per week but can be applied for as x2 15 hours per week posts (job share).
FTE salary is £21,000 per annum based on 37 hours hours per week.
Experience of delivering fitness classes and programmes within a sport, physical activity or health setting. Possess excellent communication skills with proven ability to forge strong relationships. Candidates require relevant qualifications in sport, physical activity and Health including a Level 3 Exercise Referral Qualification. Experience of supporting those facing barriers to participation is required along with knowledge of training clients with long term health conditions and the implications and contraindications for exercising.
To be responsible for the undertaking of assessments, inductions and programming for individuals referred to the Macmillan Move More Programme. You will lead the delivery of cancer specific exercise classes and support the transition to wider community opportunities.
