From 1 September 2020, Scotland’s National Kinship Care Advice Service will be run by a partnership involving Adoption UK Scotland and AFA Scotland with additional support from Child Poverty Action Group (CPAG). AFA Scotland’s role will be to provide support and training to practitioners and agencies, and support work to develop policy and practice at local and national level and is recruiting for a full time Kinship Care Consultant to lead this work.
