Barnardo's Children's Rights and Advocacy service is a well established service, and is one of a number of services that Barnardo's deliver in Fife. The service provides independent rights and advocacy support to Looked After Children in Fife and to children attending Child Protection Case Conferences.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Project Worker to join this experienced team who work to ensure that the rights of children and young people are upheld and that their voice is heard in decision making processes which affect their world. Essentially you will have:

  • Experience and knowledge of working with children and young people with a range of complex needs and issues.
  • Experience of working in partnership with other agencies promoting the needs and rights of children and young people.
  • An understanding of the needs and issues affecting children and young people who are Looked After.

Experience of working within child care systems and processes would be an advantage.

Please see the attached role profile and additional information detailing the criteria for this post.
