Barnardo's Stronger Families service is one of five Barnardo's services offering a range of services to children and families in the Fife area. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established team who are developing Attachment and Trauma Informed Practice models of working to deliver services to families with children aged 0-12 yrs of age in the Fife area.

You will be required to deliver direct services to families who have complex needs and be at risk of family breakdown and the children being removed. You will have experience of working with children and families and a working knowledge of attachment theories in practice. Workloads will be low but you will be expected to work intensively with families for up to 9 months.

We are looking for workers who are enthusiastic about their work and can demonstrate an ability to build good working relationships with families and partner agencies

At Barnardo's we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and we expect all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. Our safer recruitment processes mean that the safety and welfare of the child is paramount at every stage of the process and therefore, we adopt rigorous scrutiny in our pre-employment checking. This post is subject to a range of pre-employment checks including a Criminal Records Enhanced Disclosure for the successful candidate.
