Barnardo's Caern community house in Midlothian (Pentland Way) provide full-time residential care for a number of young people with learning disabilities and/or autism.
We are looking to recruit a team of Residential Project Worker 2's on an As & When basis.
We aim to enhance the young people's lives by supporting them to develop their independence in both the domestic environment and the community. Using a person centred approach we aspire to create an environment in which the young people are happy, nurtured and safe.
You will have experience with challenging behaviour in a social care setting and possess qualifications forregistration with the SSSC as a Residential Child Care Worker.
Shifts are normally 12hrs and will include some weekends.
