Volunteer Co-ordinator - Fife

An exciting opportunity has arisen with Barnardo's Fife Locality for you to provide maternity cover for our Volunteer Co-ordinator post until January 31st 2021. The post is based within our Kirkcaldy office but covers the whole of Fife. You would be expected to provide ongoing  support to our volunteer befrienders who currently befriend children and young people who have been referred to Barnardo's services in Fife. This will entail the following

- Supervision of befrienders

- Administrative support of befrienders 

- Regular reviews of the work with the families and befriender

- Being the link between the service, the befrienders, the child and their family to ensure that sessions take place and any issues are managed appropriately

The service is also keen to grow the number of volunteer befrienders so opportunities would be available for you to recruit, train and match new volunteers with our children and young people.
