Are you looking for a rewarding new job? Look no further! Barnardo's Space4U Service Perth & Kinross service is a partnership between Barnardo's and Perth and Kinross Council working together with Tayside Council on Alcohol.
We are on the lookout for flexible and enthusiastic people to join our team. As an As and When Project Worker 1, you will experience job satisfaction and play a part in making a difference to the lives of the individuals we support every day. Helping individuals to reach their goals and play an active role in their local communities through evening and weekend support.
This is a really varied role supporting children and families impacted by parental substance use, parental mental health issues, and who may be living in households where there is domestic abuse, across Perth & Kinross.

Candidates should have
- Excellent communication skills

- Solution focused approach
- Experience in working autonomously (1:1 direct support)
- Excellent organisational skills
- Willingness to learn
The role may include supervisory responsibilities of volunteers.
For these vacancies it's essential that the successful candidates holds a full driving license and use of a vehicle to allow for access to a variety of activities within the Perth & Kinross area.
A relevant qualification is required, for example SVQ3/ SCQF level 6 or equivalent in a relevant subject.
As we're dedicated to providing support tailored to the needs of each individual, As and When Project Worker 1s will be contracted to have a flexible approach at the times children and families most need support. This will primarily include evenings and weekends.
