Barnardo's North Lanarkshire Youth Housing Support Service are looking for a housing support worker who can provide support to young people who have experienced homelessness.
We are looking for a flexible individual who has a car and are able to travel throughout North Lanarkshire. You will have experience of working with younger adults, preferably within the homeless or housing sector. The successful applicant will be registered with SSSC or be prepared to register on appointment of post. You will be qualified to HNC or SVQ3 level in social care.
Experience and knowledge of issues facing homeless people will be a big advantage as will experience of case management and managing your own diary.
You will work flexibly over a 7 day rota period and will be expected to commit to one evening shift every two weeks and one weekend shift every six weeks.
