Housekeeper (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Rachel house, Kinross

We currently have a number of vacancies within our Housekeeping team at Rachel House. Our team of housekeepers and housekeeping volunteers take enormous pride in providing an excellent standard of cleanliness in the hospice, which supports the care of babies, children and young people with life shortening conditions and their families.

Key Responsibilities

As part of this team, you will undertake a range of housekeeping duties ranging from doing laundry, hoovering, cleaning bathrooms and our communal areas and preparing our children and parents bedrooms for their stay with us.

About You

Ideally, you will have previous housekeeping or cleaning experience gained within a healthcare or commercial environment. A knowledge of health and safety or infection control would be desirable, however don’t worry if you don’t as CHAS will support your learning and development in these areas. Beyond that, we are looking for team members who have a positive energy and a natural ability to get along with people.
