COSLA – the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities - is the voice of Local Government in Scotland. We are a councillor-led, cross-party organisation which champions councils’ vital work to secure the resources and powers they need. We work on councils' behalf to focus on the challenges and opportunities they face, and to engage positively with governments and others on policy, funding and legislation.
We are looking for an effective leader to fill the role of Director of Membership & Resources. Reporting to the Chief Executive, and a member of the Senior Management Team, the postholder will provide strategic and operational leadership, playing a key role in delivering COSLA priorities. The successful candidate will be passionate about public service, and within COSLA will ensure the highest standards of corporate governance and business management, whilst driving continuous organisational improvement and providing excellent value for our members.
